Lovecraft-Soaked Black Metal Band The Aeons Torn Announces Second Full-Length Album; First Single Out Now

German black metal band The Aeons Torn will release their second full-length album, Void Artefakkts, on November 27, 2026. The album's first single, “Rite of Dread”, is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Bandcamp, and YouTube.

With Void Artefakkts, The Aeons Torn explore the point where scientific understanding about the universe collides with cosmic horror. Heavy, slow-moving Doom passages give way to explosive Black Metal eruptions. Across the album, screams, deep growls, and clean vocals shift between dread and despair. Spoken-word passages built around scientific quotations deepen the record’s sense of a vast universe whose greatest mysteries remain beyond human understanding.

With its mid-tempo pace and prominent clean vocals, the first single, “Rite of Dread,” is a natural continuation of the band’s 2025 EP Lovecraftian Hunger. Lyrically, it turns Lovecraftian cult horror into a ritual of fire and fear.
