Madsen release new single 'Bumm! Bumm! Bumm!' feat. König Boris

German alternative rock heroes MADSEN have released the music video for their brand new song 'Bumm! Bumm! Bumm!' feat. KÖNIG BORIS (FETTES BROT).

MADSEN composed the track together with König Boris, a member of hip-hop group FETTES BROT. The song speaks boldly about how 2017 continues to inhabit new forms of madness, and the importance of standing up and making your voice heard in these troubled times. MADSEN have always taken this view, starting out from when they were very young. For example, when MADSEN stood up in Gorleben protesting against the nuclear waste disposal or recently in Jamel (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) where they were present at a festival against right-wing extremism and xenophobia in 2016.

Today it is still the same problem as ever – one half of the world is watching the other and wondering what the hell is going on. And vice versa. It feels like right-wing radicalism, injustice and terrorism are rife, leaving many people completely speechless or stunned, not sure what to do about it. It seems like an exaggerated picture is being painted, but the truth is that the reality is even worse. So the only right way to act against all of this negativity is by taking the right, positive attitude.

MADSEN and König Boris think the same way and that’s why 'Bumm! Bumm! Bumm!' was born. It’s a song that reminds us to not wait too long before raising your voice against stupidity and abuses of power! Whether it’s for the G20 summit or the forthcoming German “Bundestag” elections - now is the time to make your voice heard.

All earnings from 'Bumm! Bumm! Bumm!' will be dontaed in equal parts to Amnesty International and Pro Asylum.

Arising Empire were very proud to announce the signing of German alternative rock band MADSEN recently. “We are so happy MADSEN is joining us!” says Tobbe Falarz, CEO Arising Empire.

Co-founder and Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger adds: “MADSEN are one of my all-time favourite bands! We’re really excited and looking forward to the future.”

The German band has already published six successful albums; of which five of them reached the top 10 of the official German album charts. The latest two records (»Wo Es Beginnt«, 2012 »Kompass«, 2015) were the greatest successes of the band’s history, with both albums entering the top 5! While »Wo Es Beginnt«, even managed to reach #2!

In addition, MADSEN have become one of the best live bands in Germany over the last few years and they are renowned as an ideal live act for festivals.

“After some very exciting years with Universal and Four Music we are now ready for a new challenge: Our CEO visited our concerts as many times as our truest fans! This is going to be absolutely amazing! Some songs are already written, the studio is booked and we’re excited for the new album”, tells Sebastian Madsen.

The album is scheduled to be released in 2018 and a tour for this record is also being planned. The first songs can be expected this autumn, so stay tuned!
