Malved releases "Signal Lost", duo presents a more raw sound mixing rock, surf music and jazz

Malved has just released the single "Signal Lost" on all streaming platforms. The track uses only bass and drums, and its sound is influenced by stoner rock, metal, punk rock, mixing influences of surf music and jazz. The sonority tries to pass a hot and electrifying climate, with a letter that tries to show how difficult it is to be in this world without taking drugs, be it with alcohol, medication or any other human addiction, since the human being is a master in addictions.

The duo formed in 2016 by bassist and lyricist Marcelo Cocão, with the intention of experimenting with various musical formulas with protest lyrics and experimentalism with guitars, which were soon removed giving space only to bass and drums, showing a more raw and heavy sound, mixing various aspects of rock, pop, surf music and even jazz.

The masks came from the influence of slasher movies, enhancing the dark and dragged climate, showing a chaotic vision of a cruel, cold, greedy and gloomy world. With the help of drummer Romulo Fernandes, the project continues with its strange and full of bizarre music, phosphorescent light, White Stripes and much more.
