Manchester's rising indie-rock group The Falls share sun-drenched anthem 'The Other Side'

Manchester's indie-rock group The Falls return today with their new single 'The Other Side', the second single to be taken from their upcoming second studio EP, due later this year via Revo Pro.

Since forming in 2023, The Falls have hit the UK's indie scene with remarkable momentum, quickly establishing themselves as one of Manchester's most exciting emerging bands. The band have cultivated a strong live presence, playing key venues UK wide, whilst consistently selling out venues in their hometown of Manchester. February 2026 saw the band play their biggest hometown headline show to date, at Manchester's iconic Manchester Academy, marking another major milestone in their rise. With demand continuing to grow, their upcoming November headline show at Manchester's Gullivers sold out in under 24 hours, prompting the addition of a second intimate date at The Castle Hotel.

Drawing influence from the likes of The Courteeners, The Kooks and Jake Bugg, The Falls blend soaring guitar hooks, infectious melodies and sharp lyrical storytelling into a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Their debut EP, Viva La Falls, released in September 2025, has already amassed more than 100,000 streams and earned early support from John Kennedy at Radio X.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Luke Owens (SHADE, Montello, The Sprats), The Other Side captures the band at their most immediate and uplifting. Brimming with shimmering guitars, sun-soaked melodies and an undeniable sense of optimism, the track bottles the feeling of driving with the windows down and nowhere to be but the moment itself — warm, effortless and instantly addictive.

Speaking on the track, vocalist and lyricist Harrison Sharp says, “The Other Side was one of the first songs we ever wrote as a band and was performed at our first ever gig. It became a regular part of our live shows and was received really well by our fans. It’s a song that has always meant a lot to us as it has paved the way for where we are now and where we dream of being as a band. The timing was right to go back and reinvent it to record it and give it a fresh take on where The Falls are currently and how we have grown. The song is inspired by the idea that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. It’s about building something up in your head, be it a person or a situation achieving that dream and realising the reality isn’t quite what you believed it would be. A call out to yourself that achieving your dreams can be as difficult as wishing for them to

happen.”
