Manuel Merigo (Ita) - Broken Mirror @ Rock

Italian guitarist born in Brescia on 15 April 1967, Manuel Merigo took his first steps in the world of music at 14 years old and began playing in a local band dedicated to re-proposing Heavy Metal covers. He took lessons from GAE MANFREDINI and later from GOGO GHIDELLI. At the same time, he joined various bands with which he performed live in various venues.

In 1991, he formed INVIOLACY, a Thrash Metal band with which he recorded the first demo tape "NO COMPROMISES." Thanks to the excellent feedback, the live activity expanded throughout Italy.

In 1993, INVIOLACY changed their name to IN.SI.DIA and were noticed by OMAR PEDRINI of TIMORIA, who became their manager and producer. Also in the same year, a recording agreement was reached with the major label POLYGRAM, which put them under contract. The production of their debut work took place in Psyco Studios in Milan, and the band sealed the album "ISTINTO E RABBIA." The video clip for the single "PARLA PARLA" was recorded and also broadcast at the time by national broadcasters; furthermore, Manuel and the band embarked on a long tour in support of Timoria.

In 1995, Manuel joined IN.SI.DIA in the HIGHLANDS STUDIOS in Milan to record the second album "GUARDA DENTRO TE," published by POLYGRAM, which guaranteed Manuel and the band a promotional tour throughout the national territory.

In 2000, Manuel joined the alternative metal band CIDODICI on a permanent basis, with which he self-produced an album ("END OF TALES" 2007) and recorded a second album ("FREEDOM REBELLION" 2012) published by the NADIR MUSIC label, which allowed him a new promotional tour of northern Italy.

In 2014, Manuel reformed IN.SI.DIA for a new live activity, which resumed at the LIVE CLUB in Trezzo sull'Adda on the occasion of the Metal Italia Festival.

In 2017, Manuel entered the Music Ink studio in Novara to record the third album "DENSO INGANNO," published by PUNISHMENT RECORD.

In the summer of 2018, among the promotional dates following the release of the album, he participated in the writing and creation of the album "REVOLUTION" by the new band DIE ON FRIDAY, also published by Nadir Music.

In 2019, the writing of the new songs for IN.SI.DIA's fourth album began, which was completed in January 2020 at the NPAS4 Studios in Brescia. In September 2022, the fourth album "DI LUCE E D'ARIA" will be released by PUNISHMENT RECORD.

SOLO PROJECT

In 2022, Manuel Merigo began composing his first solo album, recorded and produced at the NPAS4 STUDIO in Brescia. The album will be titled "BROKEN MIRROR" and will contain 9 songs:
