Marcus King recently announced the release of his forthcoming record El Dorado
“Wildflowers & Wine” is a vulnerable and personal song, and along with Marcus’ guitar work, songwriting, & raspy soulful voice, he stays true to his unique country-soul sound that straddles blues & southern rock. The song marks a new sonic direction for King and showcases his rasping honeyed vocals. With King's remarkable voice taking centerstage on El Dorado - the record is set to further establish the guitar phenomenon as on of the most soulful voices of his generation.
Marcus King recently announced the release of his forthcoming record El Dorado, produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and released on Jan 17, 2020 on Fantasy Records. The pair co-wrote the 12 songs in 3 days in sessions at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Studio in Nashville. Album preview songs include soulful single “Wildflowers & Wine” and El Dorado’s driving first single “The Well” which received widespread radio support and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone Magazine, Vulture, Entertainment Weekly and Paste Magazine who stated, “While the guitar pushes along a repeated blues lick, King’s exceptional voice is the main attraction.”

The Marcus King Band will perform 70 dates worldwide this fall & spring. They are one of the hardest working bands in music today performing over 140 live shows in the last calendar year.
