Today, singer-songwriter Marianna Winter unveils her new single “Airdry”, following the recent singles “Feels Good To Be Needed” & “Let Me Love You”. The single offers a final, intimate window into her debut album, "The More You Know", releasing via Tutl Records on May 22 (Digital) and May 29 (Physical LP).
Flirty and soft-edged, “Airdry” is built around a deceptively simple premise. The song plays it cool, swaying with a self-aware independence, but beneath the breezy surface lies a softer truth: it is a song that needs to be handled with care.
“Airdry” doesn’t rush to be heard; it lingers. It is a track for the moments when you let things unfold in their own time, acknowledging that if you leave a feeling hanging long enough, it might just find its own way to the end
With this release, Marianna continues to reveal the emotional landscape of “The More You Know” - an album that explores growing up, growing older, and growing wiser. "The More You Know" is not just a debut, it is a portrait of growing pains, a home recording that throws open the door to the past.
Blending indie folk, pop, and rock with moments of intimate bedroom pop, the album was written and produced by Marianna alongside Ragnar Finsson, and carries the warmth of an old analogue recording: honest, a little distorted, but with a feeling that remains crystal clear.
