Mars Red Sky to reissue their cult debut album with a web mixing tool.

For the ten-year anniversary of their eponymous debut album, Bordeaux-based heavy psychedelic merchants MARS RED SKY treat their fans to a very special release including a web mixing tool! The album is due out on December 10th through their own record label Mrs Red Sound.

Heavy psychedelic three-piece MARS RED SKY celebrate the anniversary of their cult eponymous debut album by releasing an original online tool entitled "Inside MRS", that allows to remix the album stems. Anyone who bought the record, and got a private access code, will be able to log in into the website and to listen to the bass only, or to the lead guitar and vocals only, while watching footage of the recording sessions in the Bardenas Desert, Spain, about ten years ago. The band wanted to let the fans explore the entrails of the recordings. It was created by French web development agency Aropixel. This release also features an illustrated lyrics booklet with fans artworks. Preorder are available at this location. 'Mars Red Sky' was recorded by Pierre Fillon in The Bardenas Reales Natural Park, Spain. Mixed by Pierre Fillon and Mars Red Sky in Bordeaux, France. Beyond a highly recognizable sound, MARS RED SKY have been opening gateways to new dimensions with their otherworldly songs since their self-titled debut back in 2011. Whether you experience their records or live performances, their hulking yet trippy brand of stoner rock takes you onto an infinite journey. From the early days, the Bordeaux trio has established as an essential live act, treading upon the biggest rock and metal stages (SXSW, Hellfest, Roadburn, Desertfest, Eurockéennes festival) and opening for the likes of Sleep, Dinosaur Jr., Kyuss Lives!, Killing Joke or Gojira.

With their sophomore full-length "Stranded In Arcadia" (2014), a sci-fi odyssey filled with dystopian reveries, MARS RED SKY quickly became a cornerstone band among the heavy rock scene, garnering praise from international critics. "Hypnotic", "massive", "charismatic", "psychedelic" are some of the words used to define the prolific trio’s sound, floating atop the stoner rock constellation and 70s psych pop nebula. Two years and hundreds of shows across Europe and Americas later, the band released their third album "Apex III (Praise For The Burning Soul)" (2016). Once again produced by Brazilian engineer Gabriel Zander, their behemoth sound blends perfectly with Julien Pras ethereal vocals and guitars, opening a door to even more bewitching paths.

In 2017, MARS RED SKY treated the fans to a highly collectable item with the "Myramyd" EP – an instrumental odyssey in the form of a 17-minute live recording. Their latest album "The Task Eternal", is available on Listenable Records and Mrs Red Sound since 2019.
