Marshmello Makes a Dark Lullaby of Alan Walker's 'Sing Me to Sleep’

The mysterious puff monster Marshmello brings his sugary style to Alan Walker's already energetic “Sing Me To Sleep,” but where the original was straightforward and colorful, Marshmello adds a touch of darkness between his usual pop-ready deliciousness. The beat's been tweaked and reset at half-time, giving the song an overall harder edge. According to Billboard, it's exactly what one hopes for with a Marshmello remix.

The Marshmello project began in 2015, with remixes for acts such as Calvin Harris, Zedd and Jack Ü, as well as a series of original tracks released to Soundcloud. He is putting out great music in the trap and future bass scene.

‘Sing Me To Sleep’ has already reached the number 1 spot in Norway and is the follow-up to 2016’s smash hit ‘Faded’ by Alan Walker. ‘Faded’ went 2x Platinum in Belgium and reached the number one spot in Ultratop 50 for Wallonia and number two for Flanders.
