Matías Francino releases first single from his new LP
With almost 20 years of experience in music, Chilean guitar hero Matías Francino remains firm in his purpose of continuing to grow as a soloist. A winding path that is also an inspiration in itself for the creation of new material. His latest single, ‘Frozen Senses’, is the first song he releases to present the essence of this latest work, much more intimate, personal and emotional.
“The song portrays a dreamlike way of seeing our distant past, in flashing moments without warning, opening up personal questions about life and death; love and hate, or about what we believe is finished and ends up being insufficient. Reflections that make that feeling of melancholy remain but that, despite everything, motivate us to emerge again and have the courage to reinvent ourselves to move forward,” details the musician.
This work includes a music video, which was recorded in four different locations: on the Chilean Pacific coast, the Andes Mountains, and Siberia, Russia. Direction and production was in charge of Sebastián Gamboa and Judah Audiovisual. “These images seek to show the gray nuances in which we live emotionally and how they accompany our ‘frozen senses’”, adds Matías.
Unlike his previous work, which was completely instrumental, “Rising Agony” from 2021, in this next album, which will be titled “Ride to Horizon”, he will once again be the lead vocalist, just as in past musical projects
