Meet "Held By Evil", the debut album from Burial Ruthless
BURIAL RUTHLESS released their debut album Held By Evil on August 14th, 2026 through Great Dane Records.
Based in Barcelona, Spain, BURIAL RUTHLESS are a Venezuelan technical death metal band originally formed in 2015. After earlier smaller releases, including an EP in 2019 and later singles, the band now present their debut full-length album, Held By Evil, released through Great Dane Records.
The album comes after a long road for the band, with Victor Figueroa remaining as the last original member from the 2015 line-up. Now featuring musicians connected to Venezuela, Ecuador and Spain, BURIAL RUTHLESS bring together technical death metal, brutal aggression, progressive elements and atmospheric passages across a 43-minute album.
