Melé shares first single off forthcoming Defected Records LP

International producer, DJ, and tastemaker Melé presents ‘So High’ with UK rapper Jords and multi-faceted producer Wonky Logic, the first single from his forthcoming Defected LP. The ClubBad founder is known for his high-energy and percussive house sound, lighting up dancefloors around the world, from his native UK to his newfound home of Miami.

Melé has built a strong relationship with house institution Defected Records, most recently headlining their sold-out fabric London show in February 2026, while also playing at their flagship parties in Croatia, Malta, and Ibiza for many years.

‘So High’ heralds the release of his upcoming LP with the label later in 2026, with this first single spotlighting Melé’s love for hip-hop alongside Jords, an established London rapper whose flow has recently featured on records with J Clu, Kobie Dee, and Marie Dahlstrom. Also bringing his prowess to the release is Wonky Logic, a London-based multi-instrumentalist who has worked closely with artists like Nala Sinephro and Nubya Garcia, and has performed and recorded with Nightmares on Wax, K.O.G., and Yellow Days.

Together, the three artists deliver ‘So High’: Melé’s percussive expertise combines with Jords’ dynamic lyricism and distinctly UK sound, while Wonky Logic’s word-class guitar riffs bring a live sensibility, bridging the gap between electronic and instrumental.
