Melicious releases new single “Busy Girl” through AWAL

Nevertheless, there is social criticism at the heart of « Busy Girl » , which is emphasized in particular with the line « it's just so hard to keep living in a world that only cares about how accomplished you are » .

« I wrote Busy Girl at a moment when I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up: That this 'paralysis' would cost me my dreams in a time when everyone else is accelerating » , says Melicious about the track, « and on the one hand, it bugs me that I'm like this - but on the other hand, I've been made into this by our society... »
