Melodic death metal titans Vane release occult themed EP "The Nightmare"

After a year spent in quarantine, Polish melodeath titans VANE are back with something special - their new EP The Nightmare (9/3/20)

Continuing in a musical tradition defined by bands like Carcass, At The Gates, In Flames and Lamb of God; The Nightmare is brimming with thrash, traditional death metal and melodeath tracks that show the band at their most fearsome. Telling a compelling story of death, intrigue and the occult focused around the mythical ghost ship The Flying Dutchman is no small task - each song is a crushing example of the best that the genre has to offer while conveying the subject matter in an authentic but entertaining way.

If you're looking for a comparison to the cartoonish "pirate themed" bands popular in some circles, you won't find it here. Vane is dead serious about telling a damn good story with their brand of metal, and The Nightmare has the musical firepower to back it up. The release comes together with a limited edition CD and original EP art T-shirt. As a bonus, the physical edition contains “Row, Ye Scallywags!” in a remastered format.

VANE has released one full-length album (Black Vengeance), one EP (The Ritual) three singles and five music videos since forming in late 2016. The band has performed at the Wacken Open Air and Pol’and’Rock festivals along with countless dates across Europe supporting acts like Vader, Acid Drinkers and Kat&RK.
