Metal Detektor releases "Violence and Pride"

The record delivers eight straightforward tracks built on pure heavy metal, written and arranged with a clear sense of purpose. There’s no studio trickery, no sidesteps, just sharp riffs, heartfelt lyrics, and a rhythm section that hits hard.

Lyrically, the album leans into themes like resistance, sacrifice, and identity. It’s a step forward for the band in terms of emotional depth, yet it holds firmly to the genre’s traditions. The band’s own words sum it up best: “No experiments, no electronics, no acoustic ballads with string quartet. Just heavy metal played as it was done — and should be done.”
