Michael Beltran & Eric Hunter releases Drifting

It all started at the age of 12. Around Christmas Michael Beltran, aka Cedric Bonnet, received a present that would change his life. It was a little toy-synthesizer. From that day he began to experience with music. Beltran was very interested in DJ-material and soon he made contact with people in that business. Later, around the age of 18 he already knew many people in the scene. He worked with Francis Van Mechelen (Cisko kid, Dynamite). They made many commercial dance tracks together. He also worked with Flip Vanderputte (Armani & Ghost, Stormtraxx).

Around the summer of 2005 he met one of his neighbours: Junior Jack, a world famous DJproducer who has given him the taste of house, groove and electro music. The passion of making music was already there, but Beltran felt the need to play for a crowd.

After five months of playing some music in bars he did a DJ-set in club Carré. From then on the bookings started coming. Michael Beltran stands for the house, club and electro with sometimes a latino touch. Around June 2008 the first Michael Beltran single was released. It’s called Getaway and was used as theme song for Jim Getaway. The song was played in almost every club in Belgium and gained much airplay on radiostations (Topradio, RGR, Fun Radio) and tv-stations (Jim TV & MCM).

In the week of the 14th July 2008 Getaway was listed as number 1 in the JimList 40 and number 3 in the Extrazone’s singles chart. Beltran also remixed the Milk inc's hitsingle "Forever". Michael Beltran has been resident DJ at The Temple, he also played in venues like Carré, La Rocca, Café Local, .... and also big festivals such as Summerfestival and Tomorrowland.

Several successes and hits later, Michael Beltran is back with an amazing track, called "drifting", with vocals from US based singer/songwriter talent Eric Hunter.
