Mike’s Dead Drops Vicious New Track “Bite Down”

Mike’s Dead is unleashing a lethal new track. The rising rocker delivered an all new track titled "Bite Down" today, and it’s one of his heaviest yet. The song marks Mike’s Dead’s third release through Hopeless Records, and comes ahead of a stacked year of touring where rising star hit the road with Ice Nine Kills, Set It Off, and more. “Bite Down” is the follow up to his summer 2023 single “Welcome To Hell” ft. Frankie Palmeri of EMMURE which Revolver called “genre-busting” and Mike’s “heaviest song to date”.

Mike’s Dead shares of the track: “Bite Down is basically one big manic episode. We wrote from the perspective of embracing the crazy; embracing the mania and diving head first into it. We did a good job of noting that the flame dies out, whether creatively or in real life, in the pre chorus with lines like “all of this is taking a toll.” I’ve struggled with mental health my entire life as have many friends and family around me, so we thought instead of the normal “wow this is tough to deal with” prerogative we went with the “fuck it let’s have some fun” embrace of it all”.

He continues: “This song is the full encapsulation of Mike’s Dead. I think with previous releases they highlight a very specific vibe or message where as this one is very true to my colors as an artist. It’s incredibly high energy from start to finish with low baritone rapping on the verses to high intensity yelling on the chorus to beautiful dissonant singing in the pre/ post choruses. This one really sets the bar for us as I fully believe this is the big single that puts us on the map”.
