Milena Casado trumpeter, composer, and producer, has announced a run of European live dates for January 2026, with performances across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and France.

Born and raised in Spain, Milena Casado grew up moving between small villages with her mother, finding in music a sense of belonging. “Finding the trumpet, finding music — it was somewhere where I felt accepted,” she says. Her path led from full scholarships at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona and Berklee College of Music to sharing stages with jazz icons such as Terri Lyne Carrington and esperanza spalding. Now a distinctive voice in New York’s vibrant jazz scene, she returns to Europe in January after releasing her debut album.

Her debut, Reflection Of Another Self, is a bold and deeply personal statement exploring identity, dual heritage, and the lasting impact of personal trauma, including growing up experiencing racism in Spain. Sonically adventurous and emotionally immersive, the album blends cinematic electronic textures with striking organic performances. The core band includes Morgan Guerin, Lex Korten, Kanoa Mendenhall, Jongkuk Kim - with special guest contributions from Brandee Younger, Nicole Mitchell, Kris Davis, Val Jeanty, KOKAYI, and Meshell Ndegeocello, and was co-produced with Terri Lyne Carrington and Morgan Guerin.
