MillBeatz Entertainment Unveils the Uncovered Riddim

Trinidad-based production house MillBeatz Entertainment teams up with local concept events curator A Millien Concepts for the Uncovered Riddim, available worldwide from all major digital retailers on October 7, 2014, with pre-order available now, from FOX FUSE. A Millien Concepts launches this riddim as its latest extension of the Uncovered Project, which is its initiative designed to promote local, creative professionals.

Uncovered is a successful online series that showcases an original and refreshing concept, which celebrates Trinidad and Tobago’s music in a different way. Local singers perform acoustic covers of popular soca songs, which are then broadcast on the A Millien Concepts’ YouTube channel, to the worldwide masses.

The Uncovered Riddim features three songs by some of Trinidad’s rising talents who were featured on the online web series show, including Denice Millien, Christian Kalpee, Emmanuel Thompson and Keoné Osbourne. The riddim itself was created to highlight the versatility and originality from local acts. It boasts a soca-meets-R&B crossover groove and features three relatable tunes that have interconnected story lines. The tracks were written by Patrice Millien and Dale Ryan, with producer David Millien of Millbeatz Entertainment behind the production. Patrice Millien is the owner and creative producer of A Millien Concepts, making this unique collaborative album quite the family affair.
