Monster Rally & Jordana just need you to "Own It"

Eclectic producer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist Monster Rally, continues rolling out music from his exciting new collaborative album with today’s single “Own It” featuring Jordana. Laid back, but anything but passive, Monster Rally’s Mellotron and the chirps of carefree birds guide the song’s floaty pace. Jordana doesn’t plead with a lover to own up to their actions, she demands it matter-of-factly — Stream.

Describing today’s release, Monster Rally said, “The instrumental for ‘Own It’ started with the idea of taking a sunset cruise with someone that you love. No destination in mind, nowhere to be, just that feeling of being in your own world. I’ve been a fan of Jordana's music for years. I really love her songwriting and her voice really pulls you into her music. Her style and vocals are the perfect fit for the track and truly make the song what it is, in my opinion. Working with Jordana on this song has been a really special experience, she’s as kind and welcoming a person as she is an artist.”

Jordana added, “Own It” is about giving someone a second chance to prove their love to you. It’s a second chance after being hurt by this person, trying to get them to recognize what pushed you away in the first place

Set for release on March 27, 2026, Monster Rally’s tenth full-length record is titled Echoes of the Emerald Sands. As he began working on his new record, he gave himself a straightforward set of criteria: Make something unlike anything he’d made before. For someone with tastes and an artistic history as varied as Monster Rally’s, that’s easier said than done.

Venturing into uncharted territory, the upcoming record will be Monster Rally’s first that isn’t purely instrumental. He recruited not just one or two guest vocalists, but a whole fleet of artists and industry friends to sing over his recordings. The list of collaborators includes TV Girl, Jordana, Toledo, Mei Semones, X-Cetra, Leisure, Sessa, Nella, Miles Michaud (Allah-Las), Benét, Jordann, Munya and more. Ditching the tropical, sample-based plunderphonics of his past work, he decided to record everything from scratch in his Cleveland home studio — resulting in some of the liveliest, most vivid music in Monster Rally history. Last month, he teamed up with TV Girl on “Incredibly Blind” featuring X-Cetra.

Recently wrapping up the East Coast leg of his Coast to Coast Tour, Monster Rally will flock to the warmth of the West Coast for more dates in January 2026. Along the way, he will be supported by RUMTUM — See all dates here and below

Ted Feighan has never been interested in staying in one lane for too long — even if that means forging a new lane of his own. When the producer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist better known as Monster Rally began work on his tenth full-length record Echoes of the Emerald Sands, out March 27, 2026 via Flowering Jungle, he gave himself a straightforward set of criteria: Make something unlike anything he’d made before. For someone with tastes and an artistic history as eclectic as Feighan’s, that’s easier said than done.

With Echoes of the Emerald Sands, Feighan decided to recruit a whole fleet of artists and industry friends to sing over his recordings. The list of collaborators includes TV Girl, Jordana, Toledo, Mei Semones, X-Cetra, Leisure, Sessa, Nella, Miles Michaud (Allah-Las), Benét, Jordann, Munya, and more. For the new album, he also ditched the tropical, sample-based plunderphonics that had defined his work since Monster Rally’s 2010 inception, instead recording everything from scratch at his Cleveland home studio.

Before Feighan began his Monster Rally project, he spent his teen and early adult years performing in various bands, including the Myspace-era screamo band Driver Side Impact. Around that time, Feighan also started collecting vinyl, and he found himself particularly drawn to cover art that felt warm and peaceful. Referring back to his lifelong love for hip-hop and the producers famed for their sample-based beats, Feighan picked up a Roland SP303 sampler and pored over his vinyl. Monster Rally was born.

From Monster Rally’s 2010 debut EP to 2022’s Botanica Dream, he mined that vinyl collection for a stream of psychedelic beats that evoked scenes of equatorial climates and lush, faraway landscapes — not unlike the collage-based visual art he makes for himself and clients like Topo Chico, June Shine and Urban Outfitters. Echoes of the Emerald Sands is an unequivocal testament to his adventurous, curious artistic spirit.
