Mr. Belt & Wezol, Malou releases "Dopamine"

The new single from Mr. Belt & Wezol is titled Dopamine, featuring singer-songwriter Malou. Yesterday afternoon, the Dutch DJ and producer duo surprised fans with a pop-up show on the Amsterdam ferry. Tomorrow, they will perform during ADE at their own The Cuckoo’s Nest show.

About Dopamine, the duo shares: “We really wanted to create something special to play at ADE and share with our friends. It was amazing to do that together with Malou, who always brings her signature sound to a track.”

Yesterday’s pop-up performance marked a first: Mr. Belt & Wezol were the first DJs ever to play a set on the legendary GVB ferry in Amsterdam. Tomorrow, they’ll take the stage with The Cuckoo’s Nest at Hemkade 48 in Zaandam, leaving their mark on this year’s edition of Amsterdam Dance Event.

Mr. Belt & Wezol (Bart Riem and Sam van Wees) are known for their high-energy blend of house and funk. The duo broke through in 2013 with their debut single Homeless, a house rework of Crystal Waters’ Gypsy Woman. Since then, they’ve racked up millions of streams, performed across Europe, Asia, and Australia, and played major festivals such as ADE, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland (Belgium), and Ultra (Korea). In 2024, they scored a global hit with It’s Not Right But It’s Okay—a remake of Whitney Houston’s 1998 classic—which has nearly 290 million streams. Last year, Mr. Belt & Wezol signed with Sony Music Benelux.
