Marco Pierre White and duo Chris & Reece making his musical debut called "Scottish Whisky"

Chris & Reece Wilson are father and son electronic and blues duo from Scotland. With a sound of their own, their songwriting process takes them to a crossroad of genres where Chicago blues meets electronica, spoken word and gothic Americana. Their delicious words become irresistible to their legendary but unconventional guests.

Chris and Reece Wilson are a Scottish father-and-son music production and songwriting duo from Stirling and Falkirk respectively. They are known for their unique independent music releases and video projects like ‘Stone Island’, ‘The Sycamore Gap’, ‘Manchester Boy’ and ‘Shipping Up To Boston’ working alongside multiple famous collaborators such as Almanac Films, actor Danny Dyer, Happy Monday’s stalwart Bez, Scottish darling Gail Porter, spoken word artist Tam Dean Burn and actor and Irish Traveller John Connors as well as Donnie Emerson (who has been championed by Jimmy Fallon and who is famous for the track ‘Baby’ and who has further had a biopic made about his life by Casey Affleck called ‘Dreamin' Wild').

The latest project from the master duo ‘Scottish Whisky’ features yet another star-studded collaboration to add to their already packed credentials, this time with legendary outspoken wordsmith and celebrity chef; Marco Pierre-White, who has described the track as “Very sexy”

Asked why he had made the record, MPW said: “If you have a dream, then you have a responsibility to yourself.”

He added: “If you don’t make your dream come true, then you’re just a fantasist.”

‘Scottish Whisky’ evokes visions of a smoky blues club late at night, its eerily atmospheric melody is further heightened with the cinematic spoken word lyricism of its famous collaborator; Marco Pierre-White. The mid-section into the outro builds in pace and tempo further adding to the ambience; it's the epitome of sipping a glass of the finest Scottish Whisky feeling the burn of the amber liquid as it descends into the system, much like the burn of the music into the soul of the listener.

When asked about the track, Chris and Reece said with this collaboration they see themselves and the ‘Mark Ronson’ to Marco’s ‘Amy Winehouse’.

The band is made up of Chris Wilson and his son Reece Wilson with all tracks being written by the duo and being mixed and produced by Robert Etherson and Adam Shaw.
