Mutilation Rites unveil exclusive behind the scenes video at Revolver Magazine

MUTILATION RITES unveil the making of their blistering, forthcoming July 20th release, "Chasm", at Revolver Magazine!

The video was filmed in New York at various locations including Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, bassist/vocalist Ryan Jones' recording studio Growlhouse Recordings, Chapel Black Studios (with Travis Bacon of Black Anvil, Hogwasche, White Widows Pact) and more. The video was filmed by Mutilation Rites guitarist, Michael Dimmitt with interview assistance from Sarah Coulter, audio mix from bassist/vocalist Ryan Jones, and graphics by Aaron Nichols. "This was a special place and time for our band" Dimmittreminisces. "After spending three years writing this record and having the great pleasure of collaborating with Tyler Coburn on drums, it was something I wanted to capture for the sake of posterity."

Brooklyn's black-death metallers MUTILATION RITES are streaming the first new track off their forthcoming new album, "Chasm". Album's opener "Pierced Larynx" is streaming now exclusively via Kerrang! magazine

Regarding the new track, bassist Ryan Jones comments: "'Pierced Larynx' is a song that intends to create a horrifying image of sacrifice and slaughter in return for inhuman strength and power with a freight train of chunky caveman riffs and dark storms of bends and blast beats".

"Chasm" will be released via Gilead Media (US) and Argento Records (Europe) on July 20th. Pre-orders are available now.
