NCT Dream's new album "ISTJ" is out now
K-pop sensation NCT DREAM released their new album, ISTJ – The 3rd Album, today via Virgin Music. ISTJ – The 3rd Album is available now on various music sites including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and more with the physical album releasing on August 18.
The album is named after one of the sixteen Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality types, a popular online personality test taken by millions of people each year. ISTJ – The 3rd Album is made up of 10 songs, including the album’s title track. “ISTJ,” composed and written by hit-maker KENZIE, is a hybrid hip-hop/dance track with a narrative of getting to know someone for who they truly are as a person instead of relying on MBTI personality types to define them. The album also features the song “Like We Just Met” where all seven members have co-written the lyrics together.
ISTJ – The 3rd Album surpassed 4.1 million pre-orders, breaking NCT DREAM’s previous record held by the group’s second full album Glitch Mode (2 million pre-orders).
The group’s latest single, “Broken Melodies,” followed NCT DREAM’s first-ever English single “Beatbox” which was re-released in March – the original version was featured on the group’s second full length repackage album.
The 7-member group most recently wrapped their first ever U.S. headline tour which stopped in Newark, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and Seattle. The U.S. dates were a part of the group’s ‘THE DREAM SHOW2 : In A DREAM’ Tour, which concluded with a run in Latin America this month.
