NOORD is a 3-piece metal band from Antwerp, Belgium. They saw the first light of day in
2017. Even in the earlier stages it was clear that this band would not sound like any other band.
The roots lies in the metal world but there are a lot of roads to walk on without losing the roots itself. They combine different elements and styles to form their own. In easy words; NOORD brings something different to the table in the world of heavy music.
Their first release was the EP "ONE”. That included the songs "Villain" and the most streamed song "Prophet". With that EP, the band played some cool shows. For example, NOORD did a weekender with ‘Slaughter The Giant’ and ‘When Plagues Collide’ in Leipzig. GMF was also among them. By then, the new single "Defiance" was also out. Not to mention, we also performed at the Online Ghent festivals in 2020 and actually started at Metal For Angels fest (2018).
Now, the full album “CRYPTOSIS” will be released on all digital platforms in September 2023 through Gio Smet Records.
