New Bleach Announce Details of Debut Mini LP 'Impressions' | Share Single "Stranger"

Today Quebec City indie-pop duo, New Bleach, announce details of their forthcoming debut mini album, Impressions, and share the latest single, “Stranger”. Impressions is set for release on 14th May 2021 via Coyote Records. “Stranger” is out now on all music services.

Finding inspiration in life as we have known it for over a year now, New Bleach delivers a catchy new song with “Stranger”, featuring hazy melodies and delving into existential questions. At the core of their process, they find the search for oneself and a reflection on true happiness. Attempting to put these deep emotions into music, the duo combines airy synthesizers and expressive vocals with a frantic drum beat that reminds listeners of the days that go by without us even realizing it.

New Bleach is the new indie pop project from two members of the renowned Quebec rock band Caravane. Dominic Pelletier and Raphaël Potvin adopted the home studio approach, wishing to explore new sonic territories and create music that feels current, yet intimate.

Impressions combines analog synth textures, organic instrumentation, synthetic beats and impressionistic poetry, collages of modern and vintage influences. The first single "Awake", released in April 2020, quickly garnered thousands of streams and was featured on the prestigious Spotify "Indie All Stars" playlist The duo has since released three new tracks, “Silver Lining, “HIGH”, and “You”.

Impressions is set for release on May 14th via Coyote Records.
