New Music from Head of Clay - We Can Unite
A new single and video from Melbourne's Head of Clay titled “We Can Unite” releases Friday April 17th.
We Can Unite is an anthem for community solidarity during the chaos and uncertainty of the current Coronavirus Pandemic. A desire to help those who have been disadvantaged and to provide a positive message of hope motivated Head of Clay to immediately write and record We Can Unite.
Singer David Trimboli on the single “We wanted to positively contribute to the cause and why not by the best way we know how...through our music!”
”We Can Unite is about bringing people together through these tough times, reassuring people that we can unite and support each other”
Recorded at Wolfie Studios in Melbourne, the song draws on the bands 90’s rock influences nuanced with grooving melody and soulful vocals. The band are aiming to raise 10 000 for the Salvation Army to assist Australians who have been impacted by the Coronavirus, with all proceeds from the sale of the single to be donated - there is a Go Fund Page for donations too (all donations also receive a free download).
“The Salvation Army have demonstrated an endless commitment to helping the community, one of our members was helped by them when he was young and they went well beyond the call of duty with their generosity and genuine compassion. They are at the forefront of helping anyone in this epidemic.” States Trimboli.
We Can Unite is available from all good online retailers as well as The Head of Clay Bandcamp Store on Friday.
