Octanaje releases their self-titled debut album

The race begins for a new and powerful Chilean band. From Santiago, Octanaje hits the road with their self-titled album, a testament to their rock vocation, inheriting the classic sounds of distorted guitars and tireless voices that feed the power of a solid work. The first artistic manifesto of a quartet that begins to travel the road to the top of rock in their country, now available on all music streaming platforms.

‘Acorralado’ is the title of the single that the band has decided to promote as a song that identifies the spirit of the album. “The lyrics refer to someone who feels imprisoned and who finds moving forward in life quite difficult, but despite all the difficulties, continues to move forward and seek his way without giving up,” explains David Valencia, the group’s lead singer.

Guitarist Eduardo Oyarce comments that “the album seeks to take the audience on a journey across different emotions and sound textures, ranging from personal experiences where hope and joy are mixed, to the strength and will to face adversity with an unbreakable attitude.”

Erick Martínez on bass and Miguel Yáñez on drums complete the band that is already beginning to work on the material for their next album while, at the same time, they are deployed across various stages to demonstrate the energy and power of their live performances.
