Olatunji thrills on "Tun Fo Meh"

Trinidad and Tobago’s shining star Olatunji Yearwood drops his electrifying new song “Tun Fo Meh,” now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released December 9, 2016), from FOX FUSE. The track was produced by Wetty-Beatz Productionz and Stadic Music, the same team behind Olatunji’s monster jam “Oh Yay” last year, and arms Olatunji with ample ammunition to stay at the very top of the Afrosoca music scene – a niche genre he is credited as being the face of by international media, including U.S. music publication The FADER Magazine.

“It’s always a great vibe to work alongside Wetty Beatz and Stadic, and create good music for the fans,” states Olatunji. “Afrosoca has real vibes and it makes you want to get up and move. I’ve been getting videos sent in from all over the world with professional dancers, Zumba classes, fitness people and fans dancing to the song. It’s amazing to see my music embraced and have people enjoying my music across the world.”

Olatunji exploded globally in 2015 with his AfroSoca hybrid smash “Ola,” after winning the 2015 International Groovy Soca Monarch Competition and remains the very last International Groovy Soca Monarch champion, as the competition has since changed its format. He delivered another AfroSoca earworm for the 2016 Trinidad Carnival season with “Oh Yay,” which remains the most popular soca track of 2016. It is also the most-viewed soca video on YouTube for the 2016 season, racking up over four million views and counting (even as an audio-only video), since its release on the global platform.
