Opus Elefantum new album called Thanatos set to release 9th August.

We are Opus Elefantum and would like to present you our next release. Foghorn - a solo project of Tomasz Turski - returns with a new album called Thanatos set to release 9th August. His debut album - Corona - released slightly over year ago was highly acclaimed in Turski's origin country - Poland. With his new release we want to present Turski's music to wider audience.

Thanatos is thoroughly sonically layered record. Compared to its predecessor the instrumental melodies and vocals are more up front; not buried and subdued like they were before. Turski's new music can be likened to Drowse, Have A Nice Life, Jesu, Planning For Burial and The Angelic Process. As always, Turskiallows the right things to be overdriven and fuzzy while at the same time letting others be mellow and soft-sounding.
