Origin is back to Europe this May for a string of live dates

U.S. technical death metal titans ORIGIN are heading back to Europe this May for a string of live dates, and in good company. Headlined by black metal pioneers Marduk, the "Frontschwein 2016 Tour" will also inlcude partners in crime Immolation and thrash metallers Bio-Cancer. The 18-date routing will go though nine countrie (see below for details).

ORIGIN are among the leaders of metal's recent wave of extremity. Formed in Kansas (North America) in 1997, the group is considered to be one of the top, most intense and most brutal technical death metal forces to be reckoned with. Their latest offering "Omnipresent" is no exception. "A culmination of 15 years of technical death metal brutality that transcends definition" - states the band. And continues: "From light speed to absolute zero, it is a journey to the farthest reaches of the universe, to the darkest nether of the mind".

Touring in support of "Omnipresnt" is a technical metal feast, which has been proven during the band's most recent co-headlining shows across North America, with extreme metal heroes Krisiun. The upcoming Euro tour will be ORIGIN's second over the course of two years. In 2014 the band took over the continent with Aborted, Miasmal and Exhumed. Up till now, ORIGIN's impressive touring resume includes both Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.

The band commented on the tour: “Black? Death? Thrash? This tour has something to brutalize any taste and we are bringing it to every squalid corner of your continent! Its been over a year since ORIGIN has graced your shores and our ferocity has only heightened since then. Are you ready to Hail Space??”.
