Os13 releases new single featuring André "Pinguim" Ruas, drummer of Charlie Brown Jr

The Brazilian band Os13 is back with a new single titled "Guerreiro do bem" (Warrior of Good). The song, distributed by the triple alliance of Musikorama (Argentina), New Music (Brazil), and Believe Music (France) on July 7th, features a very special guest: André "Pinguim" Ruas, the drummer of Charlie Brown Jr, one of Brazil's most important rock bands in history.

"Guerreiro do bem" is a song that inspires freedom and the pursuit of dreams and goals. With clear messages from the late Brazilian Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna at the beginning, it reinforces the song's content. "We decided to release the song now because it may be one of those moments when Brazilians need strength and inspiration the most to achieve their goals," says Andrey Milan, the vocalist and lyricist.

The song was produced by the band itself in collaboration with Henrique "Baboom" Canalle, who was also responsible for the mixing and mastering. The recording took place in São Paulo and Santos, at Electrosound, the studio where Charlie Brown Jr recorded their last album. After visiting the graves of Chorão and Champignon (deceased members of CBJr), the band was surprised by a visit from Marcão Britto, the original guitarist of CBJr, who interacted with the band, providing support and encouragement to make the recording even more magical for Os13.

André "Pinguim" Ruas' participation on drums was a great gift for Os13, as they have always shown their appreciation for the sound of Charlie Brown Jr. "It was an honor to have Pinguim playing with us. He is an icon of Brazilian rock and a great friend. He brought incredible energy to the music and the project," says Andrey.

Inspired by the Brazilian people and anyone who fights for personal victory without mistreating others, "Guerreiro do bem" is the kind of music that appeals to fans of Smash Mouth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and, of course, Charlie Brown Jr.

Os13 is a rock band formed by Andrey Milan (vocals), André Amato (guitar), Pedro Brunetti (bass), and R. P. (Mandolin), blending rap, reggae, funk, and metal with lyrics about love, freedom, faith, overcoming, and social criticism. Created in 2015, the band overcame throat cancer of their incredibly talented vocalist, Andrey Milan, and now they return with full force in their new single. Andrey warns new listeners, "Beware, you may not like it if envy and/or greed are your way of thinking."

The single "Guerreiro do Bem" will be available on all streaming platforms starting from July 7th, 2023
