Out 4/18 on Dim Mak: Laidback Luke & Nostalgix - 1000 BPM

Laidback Luke rolls out his new sound with Bass House force Nostalgix for "1000 BPM," a raw, hard-hitting Tech House monster with a wild BPM switch, stomping drums, and a hypnotic vocal hook.

Out on Dim Mak April 18th, “1000 BPM” is an adrenaline fueled track that spirals into a chaotic, BPM shifting drop. True to its name, the track subverts expectations with a wild tempo change, taking listeners on an unpredictable, high-octane ride. Nostalgix’s fierce, commanding vocals cut through the chaos, perfectly complementing the track’s high-energy build and making it a certified party-starter. This track is built to electrify any room and ignite energy in the crowd.

Luke reflects on the track, "I enjoyed being physically with Nostalgix when creating this collab. I was so impressed by how organized and fluid she is in the studio. Pushing production boundaries and taking the track to an actual 1000 BPM after I jokingly said that she only plays high BPM stuff. When we figured out the lyrics for it, everything fell in place. We've got your hot-girl bloghouse anthem right here!"
