Bloodshed - Punishments Beyond Comprehension EP out September 4th

Today, Los Angeles hardcore band BLOODSHED unleash their Punishments Beyond Comprehension EP through DAZE. The six tracks seethe with intensity and aggression, capturing a rebirth of true hardcore. BLOODSHED take influence from Integrity, Ringworm and In Cold Blood, crafting a ‘90s style sound that bursts with metallic riffs and darkened vocals. Expect to hear tracks that span from fast hitting chaos to foreboding walls of sound. Guest vocal features come from Dan Longo of Laid 2 Rest, Nic Samayoa of Forced Order, and Alex Barragan of Leave No Doubt, with Ronny Lee Marks of Upon Stone contributing guitar to the instrumental “Punishments.”

“This EP serves as an affront to much of what exists in the hardcore scene today. Its facade of narratives, promoting regurgitated virtues for the sake of ‘fitting in,’ and embarrassing displays of weakness posed as morality and excused as injustice. This lack of substance, also known as talent, has plagued hardcore for years and has now positioned itself at the helm of the scene it wishes to police and ultimately destroy.

Let this be the antithesis of these atrocities. May it serve as the spearhead of a rebirth.”

Punishments Beyond Comprehension was recorded and mixed by Andrew Solis and mastered by Nick Townsend. The physical album comes with four bonus tracks, remastered and remixed versions of the band’s 2025 demo and “By My Command” from the Four Corners Of Chaos split.
