California-based experimental extreme metal duo ANTANIA, have officially joined the roster of Argonauta Records, marking the beginning of a new chapter for one of the most unconventional acts to emerge from the American underground.

Operating at the intersection of avant-garde black metal, industrial music and experimental electronics, ANTANIA have forged a sound that defies conventional categorization. Dispensing entirely with traditional guitars and bass, the duo constructs overwhelming sonic landscapes exclusively through synthesizers, distortion and electronic manipulation, creating an oppressive fusion of mechanical precision, crushing low-end frequencies and bleak, immersive atmospheres.

Drawing inspiration from visionary acts such as Dodheimsgard, Mysticum and Thorns, while embracing the pioneering industrial electronics of Skinny Puppy and Ministry, ANTANIA seamlessly merge industrial black metal, experimental electronics and oppressive sound design into a singular sonic identity that continually challenges the boundaries of extreme music.

Conceived and driven by Dr. Luna and Kali Mortem, ANTANIA have steadily established themselves as one of the most distinctive voices in the experimental underground, crafting an uncompromising artistic identity that rejects genre limitations in favor of sonic exploration and absolute creative freedom.

Lyrically, the duo explores true crime, psychological horror and real-world violence, examining the darkest corners of the human condition through an equally unsettling and immersive sonic experience.

The album will initially be released digitally through Argonauta Records on October 16, 2026, followed at a later date by physical editions on CD and vinyl. Full details of the physical releases will be revealed soon.

But ANTANIA's assault will not remain confined to the studio. Shortly after the album's release, Doc Luna and Kali Mortem will take their extreme electronic black metal vision on the road, joining renowned Swedish metal force The Crown for a series of dates across Asia, followed by an additional appearance alongside Evergrey in India.
