DJ Tennis Drops New Single & Video for "Misbehave" with Campbell King
Today, prolific DJ, producer, and label boss DJ Tennis returns alongside Campbell King with “Misbehave,” a blazing club single just in time for summer — out now alongside a new music video via Life And Death.
One of Manfredi Romano's highest-octane club records in recent memory, the track blends King's commanding vocals, heavy percussion, talkative basslines, an infectious cuíca sample, and detuned synth leads into something that feels equal parts club and Carnaval procession. It's a track destined for peak-time sets, open-air dancefloors, and long summer nights.
While “Misbehave” is firmly aimed at the dancefloor, it also lands in the middle of a bigger moment for Life and Death. The label turns 15 this year, marking a milestone for the creative ecosystem Romano has built around melody, vocals, and broader genre influence in underground electronic music. As both DJ Tennis and the label’s founder, he continues to actively shape a roster that includes Demi Riquisimo, Jennifer Loveless, Luke Alessi, Cole Knight, Paurro, Butch, and others, while maintaining the kind of cross-scene perspective that comes from a career spanning punk promotion, artist management, and work with artists like The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, Björk, and LCD Soundsystem.
The new release follows DJ Tennis’s previous Life and Death single "Playa Paradiso" with Eliza Rose last summer, which garnered praise from the likes of Billboard, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Beatportal, and more.
