Pixel Grip Release 'Percepticide Remixed' LP Ft. KAVARI, Matrixxman, Fever Ray, & More

Chicago darkwave/electronic trio Pixel Grip have released a new remix package, Percepticide Remixed, following their acclaimed 2025 album Percepticide: The Death of Reality.

The remix package expands Percepticide through a wide-ranging cast of electronic artists, including KAVARI, Perel, Frazer Ray, Inhalt, Black Asteroid, Auragraph, Curses, Matrixxman, Normal Bias, A Thousand Mad Things, club.drippy, Babymajick, and Pixel Grip themselves. KAVARI's take on "Noise" refracts the original through a harder, more fractured club lens, while Matrixxman sculpts "Reason To Stay" into a heads-down, hands-up dancefloor anthem. Frazer Ray lends his pristine 2-step touch to "Crows Feas," Auragraph reimagines "Bet You Do." through an '80s-inspired electro lens, and the remaining producers each pull Percepticide into new corners of the underground without losing sight of its emotional core.

The original Percepticide pushed Pixel Grip's dark, club-facing sound into its most volatile form yet—a self-released collision of EBM, techno, darkwave, synthpop, and industrial pop built around betrayal, trauma, rage, and reconstruction. Over the past year, the album has been praised for channeling that intensity into one of the band's strongest records to date, while cementing Pixel Grip's reputation as a ferocious live act and proving the power of their fully independent approach.

Pixel Grip blur lines between avant-pop, EBM, and minimal wave, blending industrial grit, peak club euphoria, and pop sensuality. Their songs confront wealth disparity, mental illness, and gun violence with over-stimulated confidence, and have earned co-signs from cultural heavyweights including Travis Scott, Trent Renor, and Versace.
Percepticide Remixed is out now, with festival dates for Pixel Grip to follow this summer, including Hinterland, Just Like Heaven, and Bumbershoot. In the fall, the band will be embarking on a European arena tour supporting KoRn, hitting Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and more.
