Grit, Swagger and a Floor Shaking Energy - Tres Kings - unleash new single BAD SIDE BABY

Tres Kings are the Kent based indie rockers, who quite simply burst onto the scene in 2018 when they made their debut appearance on British television.

That same year, they featured in a Walkers Crisps advert directed by YouTube sensation Colin Furze and were backed by further support from BBC Introducing. The band subsequently built up a strong reputation and loyal fan base, seeing them win a Battle of the Bands competition at the iconic Dreamland stadium in Margate and becoming the first ever band to record at the now-legendary (due to numerous prestigious awards) “Albion Rooms” (The Libertines’ studio and event space) in Margate, and further lighting up the stage at The Bearded Theory Festival.

Following a short hiatus in which the collective band members sought to pursue individual projects, Tres Kings reunited with a renewed energy and purpose in 2025. United by brotherhood and driven by a fresh creative spark, the band earned new recognition in 2025 with their singles, ‘Scuba Diver’, ‘Antenna’, and ‘My Favourite Letter is K’ receiving plays and praise from the likes of Radio X and BBC Introducing. Further achievements that year also included playing to a packed out tent at the Isle of Wight Festival, major support slots with Huey Morgan (The Fun Lovin’ Criminal) and indie giants Sleeper as well as numerous sell out headline gigs and a week long residency in France.

2026 started off strong for the band with two massive SOLD OUT shows with Trampolene in London in the opening month followed by the release of their first single of the year, the guitar driven, funky bass laden, nostalgia loaded ‘ET’.

The intervening months have seen Tres Kings build up their fan base further by playing numerous sell out gigs to include at the Spice of Life - Soho, The Lexington - Kings Cross, The Good Mixer - Camden, Signature Brew - Haggerston, Rooz Studios - London, The Maidstone Fringe Festival, and The Great Escape Festival.

Upcoming gigs for Tres Kings include being invited back to this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival, as well as a festival appearance at Goodentime Festival in Somerset, performing at this year’s Soccer Six 30th anniversary tournament and further support slots with indie rockers Trampolene.

The band have just announced the release of their next single ‘Bad Side Baby’ due out on the 5th June which is to coincide with their gig at Bush Hall in London alongside Sweet Unrest and A.R.T band.

‘Bad Side Baby’ is the first track from Tres Kings to be written by bass player Lacs Fuller. It’s a hard hitting, gritty tune about upsetting your girlfriend by being bone idle and lazy to the point of nearly ruining everything.

It’s a thoroughly modern love song wrapped up as a high octane guitar driven banger which will resonate with many as to the ups and downs of maintaining a relationship in today’s age.

Tres Kings are Wez King on Vocals and Lead Guitar, Lacs Fuller on Bass and Rhu Fuller on Drums.

The track was recorded at The Libertines HQ in Margate, The Albion Rooms, being engineered and mixed by award winning sound engineer Jason Stafford (The Libertines/Trampolene/Jamie T) and mastered by Graham Waller.

Tres Kings further have recently recorded a live session with HOT VOX raising funds and awareness for War Child UK. There is an online donation and “fun-raising” scheme live on line now where fans can watch the special “virtual gig” make a donation of their choice to the charity or where they can “purchase” certain fun items from the band such as a silly selfie, a t-shirt, hand-written lyric sheet, private living room /garden gig and much, much more!
