Panda Bear Shares New Song 'Virginia Tech' and Announces Autumn EU Tour including Brussels, Botanique on November 2

Today Panda Bear shares “Virginia Tech,” a track previously only released on the B-side of the 7-inch of Sinister Grift’s lead single “Defense.” The song features Noah Lennox’s Animal Collective bandmate and Sinister Grift co-producer Josh “Deakin” Dibb on synthesizer and percussion as well as additional production by Daniel Lopatin.

Sinister Grift is out now on Domino and has been hailed by critics across the board as “his most straightforwardly beautiful record—and also his most emotionally complex” (Pitchfork Best New Music), “powerful and adventurous” (Guardian Album of the Week),“woozy, cosmic city-pop...perfectly sequenced” (MOJO), and “the most pellucid and poignant album of Lennox’s career” (GQ).

Off the back of a fantastic show in Glasgow last night, Panda Bear continues his UK tour this week with a show at the renowned Brudenell Social Club in Leeds tonight as well as a performance at Lido Festival in Victoria Park this Saturday.
