Paradise turns into nightmare in Cosmic Crooner's new single 'Popsicle Place'

After successfully releasing his debut single 'Deep Down in Jazz' Cosmic Crooner releases his second single 'Popsicle Place' on Friday, May 21st. The track describes a scene that's a paradise on paper, but a nightmare in reality. On Friday the video clip will be premiered by Dutch national outlet 3voor12.

Making use of the charming weirdness of 1970s psychedelic lounge music, his signature 'Doowop Space Pop' comes back to life again in the new single. The Crooner brings a bitter serenade to a distant dream full of rock 'n' roll escapism, covered in a smooth glaze of candy-coated guitar licks.

His first single 'Deep Down in Jazz' already got airplay on both British and Dutch national radio and was added to various editorial Spotify playlists, resulting in over 12.000 streams. The song also received a lot of international press attention. The Rodeo Magazine joined the “spectacular space-age lounge bar'' (2021) as they called it and Music For The Misfits, Popwrapped, Reel Culture Magazine and The Luna Collective said they would love to have another taste of the Crooner.
