Pat Carter will release his first solo album Love in the Time of Capitalism in August 2025.

Pat Carter, singer, songwriter and driving force behind internationally Berlin-based alt-country and Americana band Rodeo FM, will release his first solo album Love in the Time of Capitalism in August 2025.

Big Machine, out June 20th 2025, is the second single from Pat Carter’s upcoming solo debut. Written by Carter and recorded with his band Rodeo FM, along with Stefano Zecca (lead guitar) and McKay Belk (pedal steel), the track was produced by Berlin-based Thimo Sander (Adel Tawil) and mixed by Tad Klimp (The Notwist). Somewhere between Americana, indie pop and folk rock, Big Machine draws a bleak portrait of life in late capitalist urban society — where personal despair and systemic failure go hand in hand. Where everybody is always too late, too broke and too disillusioned to foster a dream.
