Pat Wyrembski - Orwellia Opéra [Opéra Rock/Progressive Rock/Rock] - 05/06/2026 Digital - September CD

Pat Wyrembski is a French musician, composer and producer whose artistic journey spans several decades of musical creation. A bassist, guitarist, composer and passionate advocate of progressive rock, he has developed a distinctive musical universe where emotion, thought-provoking themes, poetry and contemporary technology converge.

Having previously been involved with the progressive rock-influenced band ORION, Wyrembski now focuses on ambitious independent projects that bring together music, visual storytelling and conceptual narratives.

At the heart of his current work is Orwellia Opéra, a large-scale rock opera exploring some of the defining questions of the modern world: artificial intelligence, digital society, surveillance and Big Brother, ecology, fossil fuels, the legacy of Hiroshima, spirituality and the future of humanity.

Rather than simply presenting a collection of songs, Orwellia Opéra is conceived as a complete narrative work, with each track contributing to a broader conceptual storyline. Musically, the album moves between progressive rock, orchestral passages, energetic rock and more intimate, atmospheric moments, creating a varied and cinematic soundscape.

Driven by an independent and deeply artistic approach, Pat Wyrembski combines music, imagery and storytelling to create a work that is both socially conscious and emotionally engaging. Orwellia Opéra ultimately reflects on a world undergoing profound technological and environmental transformation — while leaving room for poetry, spirituality and hope.
