PATRIARCHS IN BLACK release the new single "No More Blood"

Dan Lorenzo explains: "When I wrote "No More Blood" I came up with the bassline first. Soon after I "heard" the chorus in my head- lyrics/melody and everything.

I was reading a book on Patton and I envisioned D-Day like the opening scene to "Saving Private Ryan". I saw parts of the movie "Platoon" a few weeks earlier while channel-surfing. I can't imagine how horrible war must be. Terrible.

I went into the studio and sang scratch vocals before Johnny Kelly recorded his drums. I left in a small portion of my chorus vocals, but then had Jeff Dixon, Sarah Sovak and Joe Ferrara REALLY sing.

Super stoked the first single off our next album is out for the world to hear."

Former Type O Negative/Danzig drummer Johnny Kelly and guitarist and riff writer Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) formed PATRIARCHS IN BLACK at the end of 2021.

As with their previous albums, thy have managed to secure a line-up of top-class guest musicians for their new studio album ‘To Serve Man’, due for release in January.
