Philippe Kalfon releases My Connection

Philippe Kalfon is a guitarist, composer and arranger. He is ranked among the top 10 active French guitarists by the specialist magazine Guitar Xtreme. To date, he has contributed to more than 60 albums and has built a breathtaking career that is almost impossible to summarise in its entirety. Philippe has performed across the world, including appearances in Japan, Ivory Coast, Martinique, the United States and Tahiti. He has played at festivals, in prestigious venues such as Accor Arena and the Zénith de Paris, as well as in intimate clubs and piano bars popular with rock audiences.

Philippe is a complete artist, capable of performing across an exceptionally wide technical range. His work appears on the soundtrack of the film Subway alongside music by Eric Serra, as well as on numerous instrumental pieces for radio and television. On stage, he has accompanied artists such as Éric Bamy, Florent Pagny and Fred Blondin, while also playing an active role in several projects, including Thai Phong, Shakin' Street, Hantson, Big Ben and Stratageme. Today, he is also the guitarist for SSB – Sloane Square Band, a progressive rock group currently gaining recognition.

Following the release of two solo albums (2021 and 2023) and a live album (2025), the artist will release his third studio album on 6 June 2026.

The press describes him as the spiritual heir to Jeff Beck and Joe Satriani.
