Piqued Jacks: huge success for the release party

Synchronair, the special presentation event of the latest Piqued Jacks album “Synchronizer”, was staged on Saturday, March 27th from Lucca Capannori Airport: a special live streaming concert right after an acrobatic flight from over 4,000 meters above sea level. An original way to celebrate the concept of the Tuscan band’s third album (the synchronized flight of birds as a metaphor to recalibrate our biological clock), but also and above all an attempt to react with courage, positivity, and creativity to the particular historical moment that the whole live music sector has been experiencing so far, which didn’t allow them to organize a traditional “release party” with their fans.

The 2-hour live streaming concert on Facebook gathered over 20,000 views from all over the world, reached 60,000 people and got over 2,000 interactions. First a crazy and thrilling 4000-meter fall and then a live performance on the airport runway, during which the four (E-King, Majic-o, littleadle and HolyHargot) played the entire tracklist of “Synchronizer”, followed by classics from their repertoire such as “Loner vs Lover”, “Safety Distance” and “Eternal Ride of a Heartful Mind”.

“Synchronizer”, released via INRI on March 19th, was recorded at the historic Esagono studio in Rubiera (RE) and enjoys the artistic production of three UK’s top producers: Julian Emery (Nothing But Thieves), Brett Shaw (Florence The Machine) and Dan Weller (Enter Shikari).

We would like to thank the Skydive skydiving school in Lucca and all the technical partners who made the event possible: Reference, Studio Esagono, Ufip, Eko, PDB Guitar, Bacci Guitars, GB Audio, Drum Art, Matteo Fotografia, and OX Centro Giovani.
