Post-punk band FIT released the single ‘Rewrite History’ from the self-titled EP.

The Utrecht-based post-punk band Fit is clearly on the rise; they played more than 40 Popronde shows, were named talents of 2026 by KINK and 3voor12, and confirmed their momentum earlier this year with a show at Noorderslag. On March 19, their second EP Rewrite History is set for release, created in collaboration with producer Daan Duurland (Tramhaus, Marathon). Today, they share the EP’s title track.

The single Rewrite History is a solid yet danceable track with a tight groove and fuzzy guitars. The lyrics are inspired by Trump’s directives toward The Smithsonian and revolve around the theme of an autocratic leader attempting to reshape history to their own will.

The release of the EP will be celebrated at their own FitFest, taking place on March 19 at De Helling. The festival will feature performances by various national and international acts, including, of course, an energetic show by Fit themselves.
