PRC Music signs Claustrofobia!

PRC MUSIC is proud to announce the addition of Brazilian brutal thrash quartet CLAUSTROFOBIA to the family! The label will release the band’s 6th album "DOWNLOAD HATRED" in the USA, CANADA, JAPAN and RUSSIA this coming fall.

Streamlined, wickedly efficient, and irresistibly catchy, DOWNLOAD HATRED brilliantly integrates the band’s numerous influences spanned over 20 years. The music is deeply rooted in all classic forms of extreme thrash, death, and even grind, and the listener will definitely hear musical references to giants of the genres.

Yet, more than ever, the band is establishing their unique blend of sonic lunacy. Modernity emanates from insanely heavy riffs, splashes of dissonant chording, very well crafted and intelligent solos, fantastic grooves “a la Brasil”, nifty breakdowns, and most important, a seamless flow of musical madness. It’s a display of ferocious originality and brilliance, combined with chirurgical precision.

DOWNLOAD HATRED was recorded, mixed and produced by RUSS RUSSELL, better known for its work with Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Exploited, Evile, The Berzerker, Leng Tch'e, Amorphis, New Model Army and a score of others. Russell added his subtle production touches on top of compositions that are as gentle as a high-speed train through a quiet countryside town.

The PRC edition will include the bonus track “Falling Appart” while “Paulada” will be added to the Brazilian version. However, you will be able to hear both songs simultaneously on 25th April. Details about the upcoming video and the North American tour will be available very soon.
