‘Primal’, the new single from Eterean

Chilean band Eterean have just released ‘Primal’, a preview single from their EP of the same name, which reflects on the disconnection from modern life and the need to return to our most essential roots. The production was recorded at Orange Studios under the direction of Erick Martínez. Based in Australia, the production, mixing, and mastering were handled by Forrester Savell, globally recognized for his work with bands such as The Aristocrats, Caligula’s Horse, Animals As Leaders, Tesseract, and many others, ensuring a sound quality that enhances the project’s identity.

The music video for ‘Primal’ was produced in collaboration with Bastión Films, a renowned production company that has worked with artists such as Drake, Sinners Blood, Chaos Magic, and Overtoun. This is a carefully crafted and immersive film, shot in the forests of the Valparaíso region in Chile, merging audiovisual technique and artistic vision to powerfully convey the work's central message. "We tell the story of a man consumed by despair and disconnection from his own essence, tormented by visions of a disgusting and corrupt society, until an object from his childhood transports him to an unknown forest," the band explains.

This single is the title track of Eterean's debut EP, which will feature four songs and presents an artistic statement about the search for authenticity in a world saturated with superficiality. Each track on the EP explores different facets of this theme, weaving an introspective tale that invites the listener to reconnect with their purest essence. Through a combination of power, immersive atmospheres, profound lyrics, and meticulous production, Primal is shaping up to be a musical journey that marks the beginning of a solid artistic identity with a powerful message.

The tracklist for the “Primal” EP is as follows:

1. Primal

2. Devela Quimera

3. Milgram

4. Reflejos
