PROSPECTIVE drops the new album 'The Weight Of What I've Become'

Italy’s metalcore powerhouse Prospective refuse to slow down, returning with their long-awaited new album "The Weight Of What I’ve Become", an emotional journey through pain, redemption, and self-discovery. Alongside the release, the band unveils their brand new single “Rise”, accompanied by an official lyric video here.

The album is a cathartic exploration of identity, struggle, and transformation. Across its ten tracks, Prospective weave themes of betrayal, healing, love, and resilience into a sonic storm of crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and unrelenting emotion. Once again, the band showcase their ability to seamlessly blend the intensity of metalcore with electronic flourishes and hardcore grit.

Speaking about the new album, singer and guitarist Luca Zini shares: "It’s a journey through the heaviest emotions we carry and the resilience that allows us to overcome them."

Since the release of 2023’s Reasons To Leave, Prospective have continued to expand their fanbase across Europe and beyond, pushing boundaries both sonically and lyrically. With The Weight Of What I’ve Become, they deliver not just a collection of songs, but a statement of survival, confronting the darkest corners of the human mind while holding on to the hope of rebirth.

The band has been relentlessly active on the road, completing a successful first EU headlining tour in Spring 2025, with a major support slot alongside Dead Posey coming this October.
