PRXJEK Shares New Single “God Of A Different Plane”

While PRXJEK’s previous release, “iPHoNe 12” played into the pure frustration and anger of long covid and broken plans, BREAKMYHEART hits another layer of desolation and emotion.

On “GOD OF A DIFFERENT PLANE”, PRXJEK pays tribute to the old school fans, sharing “This is me going back to my roots. Most know me for that raw aggressive sound that I started out with back in 2017.. And throughout the years I’ve changed my sound a lot. This is me bringing back that original energy, that ignorant type of music that makes you just wanna bang your head until your neck snaps”. Diving deeper into the song construction, PRXJEK notes: “The distorted vocals, the screaming, the double time flows and the lyrics, everything just comes together into one crazy amalgamation. Personally I think what makes this particular track stand out is that this is the first time in a while, me really going back to my old sound”.

On "LET THE WORLD BURN 2", out on February 25, 2022, “GOD OF A DIFFERENT PLANE” allowed PRXJEK to go back to where it all began, with the bravado that he says: “may come off as “slightly narcissistic, but really it’s just me embracing the confidence and power I feel in my music and the energy that I put into it”. While earlier single “BREAKMYHEART” felt like a crescendo of desolation and emotion not found in most trap metal and hip hop, and “iPHoNe 12” played into the pure frustration and anger of long covid, fans are in store for more diverse tracks on LTWBII.

Five years after the original "LET THE WORLD BURN" release, PRXJEK sees similarities between the new album and it’s predecessor. Continuing his verse diversity and the progression of emotions throughout the work, PRXJEK knew when writing the album that this would be a spiritual successor to that seminal work. “This time the order of the energies are changed”, PRXJEK shares: “For this album I tried going back to my roots touching on the subjects of depression, and anger. But I also included heartbreak, betrayal, fake friends, and for some tracks I just flexed my lyricism and skill in rapping I suppose. A little braggadocio never hurt anyone right ha”.

PRXJEK is an artist of diversity, not limited to one sound. Mixing rap, trap, rock, metal, emo, melody and flow, in one moment you can see PRXJEK put down a breakneck rap freestyle, and the next moment, a chill alt R&B flow. On the song, PRXJEK shares: “The song is about the feeling of frustration and anger, when you can’t get the thought of someone or something out of your head”.

Having been counted out numerous times and having faced tons of adversity to get to this point, PRXJEK uses the criticism of his enemies as fuel and motivation to find new flows, new influences, and continue to craft a sound all his own.
